Every day, 18,500 vehicles use the viaduct on the RD457 to bypass Vesoul via the western ring road and join the RN57 and RN19. Nearly fifty years old, the structure, which supports the passage of 2,500 heavy goods vehicles per day, must be reinforced. The Department is launching a major project that will require its closure in the Besançon - Vesoul direction from Monday, June 23 to Friday, August 29, 2025. The uphill lane, in the Vesoul - Besançon direction, will be maintained from the lake roundabout. The others will be diverted via Échenoz-la-Méline and Frotey-lès-Vesoul. Inevitably, it will be complicated.
